Stage Rules (Terms of Service)

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to HabiCos. By accessing, signing up for, or using our mobile application and related web platforms, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service, which we call our "Stage Rules". If you do not agree, please do not use HabiCos.

2. Community Standards & Conduct

HabiCos is built to support, celebrate, and connect the cosplay and crafting community. To maintain a safe and respectful environment, you must adhere to the following rules:

  • Zero Stalking or Harassment: Stalking, harassment, bullying, or making threats towards other cosplayers via the Moot Finder radar or direct interactions is strictly prohibited.
  • Cosplay is Not Consent: Always respect personal boundaries. Do not take photos, track, or approach other users without their direct consent.

Strict Enforcement: If you use the Moot Finder feature to harass, stalk, or abuse other users, we will permanently ban your account and, if necessary, report your activity and identity to local law enforcement immediately.

3. Content Standards

We welcome artistic expressions, sketches, logs, and creative work. However, users must follow these content boundaries:

  • Explicit Content: Public profile pictures, usernames, and publicly shared coordinates must not contain straight-up nudity, pornographic images, or sexually explicit themes.
  • Appropriate Cosplay: Artistic, styled, or "sexy" cosplay photos are allowed in profiles and diaries. However, they must remain within general community standards.

4. Data Storage & Responsibility

HabiCos uses an offline-first architecture to protect your privacy and speed up performance. Because of this, you agree to the following terms regarding your data:

  • Your cosplay plans, budget worksheets, checklists, and local photos are stored strictly on your local device storage.
  • We have no cloud backups of your local databases. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from app updates, device failure, or clearing app storage.

5. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate user accounts at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if a user violates these Stage Rules or threatens community health. You can also delete your account voluntarily at any time via the settings panel.
